Important Regarding Measures to Prevent the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus
As part of measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, our hotels will be checking the physical condition of all guests, through means such as taking their body temperatures. In cases where a guest is found to have a fever or seems to have other symptoms associated with a cold or flu, we will handle the situation seeking instructions from public health centers, including on weekends.
As we put first priority on the health and safety of our customers as well as our employees, and furthermore in order for our guests to enjoy their stay with peace of mind, we are taking initiatives that lead to preventing transmission of the coronavirus, such as placing alcohol-based sanitizer inside our hotel buildings, having our employees wear masks, disinfecting shared areas of the hotels, and providing ventilation. However, we kindly ask that guests staying at our hotels also cooperate by avoiding the “Three Cs” (Closed spaces, Crowded places, Close-contact settings) through means such as observing social distancing and leaving space between people when using the elevator.
Additionally, regarding guests who have made reservations eligible for the “Go To” travel campaign, we kindly ask for their cooperating in allowing us to verify their identity.
Furthermore, regarding reservations for travel that involves groups of young people or seniors or that involves gatherings such as banquets—even though the age limits and other details about eligibility for discounts have not been announced—we advise that travelers suspend their plans as these activities may involve the risk of spreading the coronavirus.
